Katelyn Halpern & Dancers (KH&D) is a contemporary dance company based in Jersey City, NJ. Since 2016, KH&D has performed throughout NY/NJ at venues including NJPAC, BAM Fisher, the HERE Arts Center, White Eagle Hall, Flushing Meadows Park, and the Landmark Loew’s Theater. The company has received support from institutions and organizations across the region, including NJPAC (Newark), chashama (NYC), The Iron Factory (Philadelphia), DANCE NOW Silo (Lehigh Valley), Arts on Site R&R (Upstate New York), and County Prep High School (Jersey City). Formed as a platform for artist director Katelyn Halpern’s probing, multifaceted choreography, KH&D works intimately and collaboratively to unearth and articulate the edges of landscapes ranging from deep interiority to deep space. Major works include JUICE (2017), Loose Heart (2017), and We Are Particles (in progress).
